Project phase 1 consists of 3 commercial blocks each 7 storeys high and two with underground parking. The development is a mixed-use development with residential apartments, a gym, a childcare facility, a courtyard and children’s play areas on approximately 12000m2.
Smith Groundworks was contracted to do all groundworks which included among other site works:
- Installation of 2 attenuation tanks
- All site drainage (foul sewer and stormwater) To IW specs
- Watermain reticulation and associated works to IW Standards
- Permeable paving roads and parking as well as tarmacadam roads
- Paving of all footpaths and courtyard areas
- Ducting of all electrical cables, public lighting, and fibre optics
All associated works were done to the highest quality of works while maintaining high standards of health, safety and environmental issues on-site. The 1 Phase of development was open to the public ahead of schedule in January 2021, despite forced breaks due to Covid, demonstrating our dedication and commercial awareness to the developer/main contractor’s goal without compromise to quality.
